Michael Griffiths, Microsoft

Michael Griffiths is Global Director, Retail and Distribution, Microsoft Business Solutions.   He is responsible for all product management activities related to retail solutions for Microsoft Dynamics.

Michael has spent his entire career in retail and joined Microsoft in 2006 to drive the Microsoft Dynamics retail strategy and complete set of marketing initiatives.  He has successfully managed the launch of multiple Microsoft Dynamics retail products and landed two key acquisitions fueling the global launch of Microsoft Dynamics AX for Retail in 50+ countries.  In his role, Michael manages the global retail business with respect to IP strategy for the product portfolio – both roadmap and go-to-market.

Before working at Microsoft, Michael worked for NCR Corporation running global product management for the integrated retail hardware platforms business.  In that role he defined and launched strategic platforms to serve retail leaders like Wal-Mart, The Home Depot, 7-Eleven, Disney, Rite Aid and Verizon Wireless.

Michael holds a Master of Business Administration and Information Technology – graduating with honors from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University.   In his spare time, he enjoys camping, hiking, mountain biking and participating in virtually any competitive sport.
